Yahoo! Feedback Loop News

alexrubin

I am extremely excited to be able to announce the launch a new Yahoo! feedback loop powered by Return Path. We now provide feedback loop services for more than 60% of the of the largest internet service providers (ISPs), including Comcast, Cox, USA.net, and Mailtrust.

And, the launch of the Yahoo! feedback loop paves the way for full integration of Yahoo! onto Sender Score Certified, as I reported in November. Yahoo! will begin using Sender Score Certified as of January 27.

Instead of IP addresses, Yahoo! uses the DomainKeys or DKIM "d=" value to determine the source of messages for their feedback loop program. This has a lot of benefits for senders: messages survive forwarding, and you can move a domain to another IP address without re-registering.

We've spoken with other ISPs who are considering switching to d= as well, though none have made any official announcements as of yet.
  • We are an ESP , and want to get Feedback loops by IP addresses
Since the customers use different from addresses

    Is FBL by ip possible
  • We look forward to it.

Catalin -- Our team is looking into this. It *should* work, but we've heard other reports of problems. I'll let reply to your comment again when I find out more ...

    Thanks!
